VDMA Agricultural Machinery Association represents the interests of over 150 agricultural machinery manufacturers and component suppliers. Germany is the largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery in Europe. The German Materials Handling and Logistic Technology Association represents 200 member companies of a branch with 65.500 employees. Besides the manufacturers of the above mentioned branch, it also represents German intralogistics manufacturers.

Germany leads the world in engineering technology, especially in mining equipment. Many German companies have close ties to Russian mining houses. Russia has become a very important export market for German mining equipment. Since 2007 Russia was the export market no.1 with a volume of nearly 230 Mio. EUR in 2009.

Our association for plastics and rubber machinery within VDMA represents the interests of nearly 200 German manufacturers of machinery, systems and peripheral equipment in this branch with a global production share of 25 %.

The VDMA association power transmission engineering is one of the largest supply sectors in international machine construction with roughly 85.258 employees. Our association represents the interest of about 175 manufacturers.
